Membership Benefits

"The Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce serves as an advocate for member businesses, working to promote and enhance our community."

There are many benefits to being a member of your local Chamber of Commerce. Locally, it ensures that community businesses are in touch with one another through a number of networking functions that are organized during the course of the year. Our members and their employees benefit from a wide variety of education, training and networking programs that enhance their skills as entrepreneurs and provide excellent business development opportunities. All member businesses appear in our annually published Business Directory and, in addition, have a free listing on our website both alphabetically and by business category. Member businesses also enjoy direct referrals from our office and member brochures and business cards are displayed at our office location.

The Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce retains membership with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and all the privileges of that membership are extended in turn to our members. Beyond the CCC's work as an advocacy group for Canadian business, members enjoy access to reduced rates through TD Merchant Services as well as access to the ESSO Business Card Program which offers a fuel discount off the posted pump price. Chamber members are also eligible to enroll in the comprehensive group insurance plan through Chambers of Commerce National Group Insurance Plan at very competitive rates. All members in good standing receive a membership window decal. Members are encouraged to display this recognizable logo in a prominent local - it serves as a signal of involvement within the business community and a commitment to success.

The Gravenhurst Chamber also advocates on behalf of the local business community, promotes local business to residents and visitors alike. The Chamber partners with other groups and organizations on joint projects and initiatives of mutual benefit. The Chamber also organizes a number of community events such as annual Santa Claus Parade and the Antique and Classic Car Show.
