Experience Gravenhurst

Welcome visitors!

Planning a visit to Gravenhurst?

We'd love to help you out. There is so much to experience in our community. Our historic downtown offers great activities, culture, food and more. In the summer there is a special activity almost every weekend.

With 50 lakes in our area, there is a waterway to suit you. If you are looking for a full day of big lake boating, we have that but we also have some quieter hidden gems that are perfect for kayaks and paddleboards.

Please stop by, email or call to learn more about all we have to offer - all year long.

In cooperation with the Town of Gravenhurst, the Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce operates visitor services. We operate the Gravenhurst Visitor Information Lounge and develop marketing materials promoting the community to guests.

Visitor Information Lounge

The Gravenhurst Visitor Information Lounge is located in Historic Downtown Gravenhurst at 275 Muskoka Road South.  Through the office, our team and volunteers are ready to assist visitors with drop-in, phone, and online inquiries.  Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for visitors to enjoy all that Gravenhurst offers.

The Gravenhurst Visitor Information Lounge is offering online and phone assistance at this time.

Experience Gravenhurst

The Gravenhurst Chamber operates the Experience Gravenhurst website, dedicated to promoting everything Gravenhurst offers and assisting visitors with their planning.

Dockside Festival of the Arts

The Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce created the Dockside Festival of the Arts in 1991 as a way to showcase the artisan, musical and gourmet talents that are abundant in Muskoka.  Taking place the third weekend in August, Dockside Festival hosts over 100 juried artisans, a full line up of musical talent, gourmet food vendors and fun for the entire family.

Gravenhurst Car Show

Since 1993, the Chamber has coordinated the Gravenhurst Car Show. Taking over Gull Lake Park on the Saturday of Father’s Day Weekend, the event hosts over 500 antique, classic and speciality cars. Gull Lake Park is a lakeside venue where show guests can browse hundreds of cars. Due to COVID, the 2020 show was held online with over 100 cars and 5000 visits.
